Welcome to the world of Roosters Metacreations where everyday metal objects from the home, run your vehicle or found on any scrapheap are transformed into instantly recognisable works of art.To suit all tastes from abstract, contemporary to humorous works. Each are individually created from own ideas or commission work. Environmentally friendly sculptures are made from 100% recycled metal. Bearing in mind most recycled metal has an element of rust this is combatted by shotblasting which removes all impurities and contaminates returning the components to new metal. All individual components are then welded together for a strong bond. After this it is off to the paintshop where they are primed and then base coated with a top quality metallic paint. This will depend on the design of the sculptures as some have up to ten different colours. Once the base is dry some highlights and shading is dropped in, this dramatically changes a somewhat flat appearance and gives more depth. The finishing stage requires up to five coats of lacquer, this gives the sculpture a deep high gloss solid finish. Thus creating an enamelled look.
